Bea Mordaunt

After pursuing and successfully completing a degree in UCD in The History of Art, I became passionate about painting. Following on, I completed a course in art, craft and design in BIFE where I was introduced to drawing, pottery, mixed media and painting.

My growing passion for Oil painting next took me to the studio of Jenny McCann where I developed a particular interest in working on water and its reflections. Subsequently I attended workshops with Fergal Flannagan in Newtownmountkennedy and later my journey took me to the Enniskerry Schoolhouse for Art where artist Brenda Malley introduced me to seascapes. For now, Oil painting remains my passion.

This lead me to courses run by well know artist Niamh Harding Miller, where I focused on still life, landscape, portraiture and oil painting under her expert guidance.

“ART for me is an ongoing study, with constant surprises and a lifetime joy of discovery around every corner. “
